Angela Hunt
We know from the Gospels that the Lord Jesus had earthly brothers and sisters. In this novel, Angela constructs a story of that family, and in particular looks at the younger sister. Pheodora’s husband is a lowly shepherd who is unfairly put into debtors’ prison. She makes every effort to free him, and in the process learns who her oldest Brother really is and God’s plan for the forgiveness of sins.
As with all Angela’s biblical novels, this is a well-researched story that is beautifully written, seamlessly weaving biblical truth with sanctified imagination to produce a faith-filled story that informs the mind and warms the heart.
