This is a wonderful, child-friendly introduction to the life and ministry of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. The author (one of the Doctor’s grandsons) starts with exciting tales from his childhood in west Wales, and then how he trained to be a doctor (and could have become the Queen’s Surgeon), before giving up his promising career to become a gifted preacher and pastor.
Engagingly written with lots of dialogue, the Gospel and other basic Christian teaching is clearly presented to make this a joyful and helpful read.
