Hudson Taylor was only 21 years old when, in 1853, he set sail from England for the mysterious land of China. His only human backing was an unreliable mission society thousands of miles away, but his one true Guide and Provider was there with him every step of the way. By the time he died aged 73, he had travelled to China 11 times, over 18,000 Chinese Christians had been baptised, and the mission he founded was the largest in China.
